Eligibility Checklist:
✔ First-time homebuyer (haven’t owned a home in the last 3 years)
✔ Have Family that lived in Washington state before 1968 
✔ Meet income guidelines based on household size and county
✔ Identify as part of a community impacted by historic housing discrimination.
✔ Completion of a WSHFC-approved Homebuyer Education Course

About the Program

  • Created in 2023 through House Bill 1474.

  • Designed to repair the harm caused by redlining, racially restrictive covenants, and housing discrimination.

  • Managed by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC).

  • Funding applications opened July 1, 2025.
